Empowering Futures Through Workforce Development

Share This:

Pursuing a quality education is an important step toward personal growth and intellectual enrichment. However, it’s equally important for one to consider what will come after finishing their education. How can they excel in their chosen field of study? Are they prepared for the rapidly evolving professional landscape?

That’s why when it comes to helping students achieve success, Cal State Fullerton (CSUF) Extension and International Programs (EIP) prioritizes not just providing excellent education but also ensuring that graduates are equipped to navigate the challenges of their business environment.

Over the past year (2022-2023), EIP offered 15 different workforce development programs that helped individuals start or change careers and fill skill gaps in various industries. With over 2,500 course enrollments and nearly 800 total students, it was certainly an impactful year.

One of the programs offered was the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Certificate Program. To keep up with the expected 10% job increase from 2021-2031, EIP launched this program to efficiently develop tech-savvy individuals who can fill those workforce needs. The coursework integrates real-world industrial automation challenges, preparing students to be capable and competitive manufacturing applicants. There’s much more to recap from the past year with EIP, not just in workforce development but also in educator programs, global engagement, lifelong learning, and more. You can explore this all now in their digital Annual Impact Report. To check it out, click here.
