This past year, Cal State Fullerton’s University Extension educated 558 students as they prepared to change careers, learned new skills for a promotion or worked toward completing a short-term certificate program. The programs covered the fields of business, criminal justice, education, legal and fiduciary, and technology and engineering.
University Extension’s Leadership Development for Public Agencies recognized 68 talented graduates in a program that has been going strong since 2007. To date, the program has had nearly 700 graduates and impacted more than 34 regional public agencies.
Custom training programs equipped regional employees and international students to become future leaders. In summer 2024, CSUF welcomed a high school group from For All English School in São Carlos, Brazil. The group was provided an educational opportunity to learn about entrepreneurship, innovation and leadership from subject matter experts that worked at such companies as Amazon, Vans, Oakley, Skullcandy and Wahoo’s.
In collaboration with the College of Education, University Extension also helped 423 teachers and administrators meet their credential and prerequisite requirements and enhance their skills through educator courses and programs.
Looking forward to 2025, University Extension is excited to continue empowering individuals, strengthening communities and driving innovation across industries. Read more about professional development achievements in University Extension’s 2024 Annual Impact Report.
