Alumnus Torrell Foree landed the position as coordinator of the African American Resource Center and strives to provide the same opportunities to black students that helped transform him as a student.

Cal State Fullerton mechanical students are working on developing a novel system called “Wildfire Aversion by Forecast and Early Response System,” or WAFERS. By using smart drone technology, their goal is to predict wildfire spread and fight climate change.

Cal State Fullerton math majors Roberto Hernandez and William Terry each received a Mathematical Association of America Outstanding Student Poster award for their research presentations at the Joint Mathematics Meetings in Denver.
