Partner With University Extension to Help Move Fullerton Forward

Share This:

Join Cal State Fullerton University Extension as it looks forward to contributing to the Fullerton Forward 2024-29 campus strategic plan. Together, the campus community will work collaboratively to steward student achievement via coursework, certificate and degree completion, and new program development.

If campus community members are looking to enroll employees in an existing Cal State Fullerton course, program, or degree; bring CSUF learning onsite or via Zoom; create a workforce-ready program with a certificate of completion to fill skill gaps in an industry; develop custom training for staff; or find a partner institution for employees to use their tuition reimbursement benefit, University Extension can help.

Take Christopher Ryu, professor and coordinator for the Accelerated M.S. in Applied Computer Science program, for instance. A few years ago, Ryu envisioned a program that would efficiently prepare individuals to enter the fast-paced software development industry. He felt that the traditional two-year length of a master’s in computer science program did not adapt to the rapid advancements in technology at the pace expected in the industry.

Collaborating with University Extension, Ryu developed AMACS. The highly anticipated program launched in fall 2024 with more than 90 applicants.
