Cal State Fullerton women’s soccer wins Big West Tournament and advances to NCAA playoffs against USC

Cal State Fullerton student veteran Andrew Romo enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2009 and was stationed at Camp Pendleton. He served in Afghanistan and participated in humanitarian operations. A Nov. 4 “Morning Colors” flag raising ceremony, hosted by Cal State Fullerton’s Veterans Resource Center, paid tribute to the sacrifices of veterans, including CSUF’s student veterans.

Cal State Fullerton women’s cross country on Saturday won the first Big West Championship in program history while women’s soccer came back down 1-0 Sunday at Titan Stadium to defeat CSUN by a score of 2-1 to win the Big West Championship.

To celebrate the Southwest Asian North African community (SWANA), Cal State Fullerton’s Asian Pacific American Resource Center, in partnership with the Students for Justice in Palestine, the Lebanese Social Club and the Iranian Student Association, is hosting a week of activities beginning Oct. 21.

Cal State Fullerton’s Disability Support Services celebrates the 4th Annual Disability Awareness Day Wednesday, Oct. 23, from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in front of the Humanities-Social Sciences Building.
