Cal State Fullerton was named an inaugural Fulbright Hispanic-Serving Institutions Leader for 2021. The university was one of 35 institutions selected.
The university expressed its appreciation for elected officials’ help in securing $2 million in state appropriations for the Fullerton Arboretum and pedestrian bridge project.

The Fullerton Arboretum at Cal State Fullerton will reopen July 7 with summer hours, after its long closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Recognizing her enthusiasm for gerontology, leadership skills and strong academics, Michaela Thompson is the recipient of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute’s 2021 Outstanding Graduate Student Award.
Elke O’Brian is the 2021 recipient of the Betty Robertson Award from CSUF’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.
CSUF faculty and staff were awarded close to $3.8 million in funding during the period January to March 2021.
