As Cal State Fullerton applauded the Nov. 15 launch of a new strategic plan, the campus community also celebrated the completion and accomplishments of its predecessor — the university’s first five-year strategic plan, unveiled in 2013.
This year’s budget, said President Fram Virjee, “underscores … the need to be strategic, to be nimble, to innovate.”
Audience members at a Nov. 9 forum stressed the need for a leader who is dynamic, innovative and adaptable, as some of the attributes for the next president of Cal State Fullerton.
Brad Anderson has joined Cal State Fullerton as director of the Mihaylo College Sales Leadership Center. “I would like to interest more students in the benefits of a sales experience,” says Anderson who served much of his 30-year career with Nestle Purina Pet Care Company.
The new 2018-2023 Strategic Plan was revealed during the Nov. 15 Academic Senate meeting.
Several areas of the campus are celebrating Movember, a national movement to bring awareness to men’s health.
The Cal State Fullerton community celebrated its support and commitment to serving veterans at a Nov. 7 event that marked the new campus location of the Veterans Resource Center.
Students, faculty, staff and community members gathered Oct. 30 in a solemn vigil to honor the 11 victims of the tragedy that occurred Oct. 26 at Tree of Life Synagogue in Pennsylvania.
Members of the campus community as well as the public are invited to a Presidential Search Open Forum, scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 9 in Meng Hall.
