Nursing Students to Don Emblem of Their Studies
Cal State Fullerton’s School of Nursing will hold a “White Coat Ceremony” for newly admitted students in the bachelor of science in nursing program. The ceremony acknowledges the students’ nursing studies and the start of their clinical rotations.

In Memoriam — Eula Mae Stovall
Eula Mae Stovall, professor emeritus of health, physical education and recreation, died Aug. 11 in Amarillo, Texas. She was 87 years old.

Two Titans Help Nepal
One is a civil engineer, the other a counselor. Together the Cal State Fullerton professors share an emotional and physical bond with Nepal, a country devastated by deadly earthquakes this spring. Landslide and earthquake expert Binod Tiwari was born and raised in the South Asian country. Jeffrey A. Kottler is a professor of counseling and founder of a nonprofit organization that supports girls’ education in Nepal.
