2016 Olympics: CSUF Alumna Makes Waves as Athletic Trainer
Titan alumna Larnie Boquiren will journey to the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro as sports medicine manager and head athletic trainer for the USA Water Polo team.

Titan alumna Larnie Boquiren will journey to the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro as sports medicine manager and head athletic trainer for the USA Water Polo team.

Alison Wrynn, Cal State Fullerton professor of kinesiology, is the co-author of three reports examining gender equity in recent Olympic games. She will give a free, public lecture at the Yorba Linda Public Library on July 27.

Andrea Becker, associate professor of kinesiology, serves as the sport psychology coach for USA Men’s Volleyball and will travel with the team to the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

John Gleaves, associate professor of kinesiology, draws on Russian doping scandal to discuss ethics in sport with his students.

Traci Statler, associate professor of kinesiology, serves as the lead sport psychology consultant for the USA Track and Field team. She will journey with the team to the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro this August.
