“The Roles of Parents, Community and Educators in Supporting Vietnamese Dual Language Immersion Programs” will be presented March 29, co-hosted by CSUF’s National Resource Center for Asian Languages.
To further his research on immigrant students, Julián Jefferies, assistant professor of literacy and reading education, has been selected as a Fulbright Scholar. The California State University will honor CSUF’s Ruth Yopp-Edwards, professor of elementary and bilingual education, on Jan. 31, with the Wang Family Excellence Award for her extraordinary commitment to student achievement and exemplary contributions in her academic discipline.
